It most commonly sinuses lungs after inhaling fungal spores from air. can also occur on skin a cut, burn, other type of injury. The common types cause mucormycosis are Rhizopus species Mucor species. is rare infection with high morbidity mortality but nowadays it observed in many covid -19 patients therefore identified as complication covid-19. seen systemic illness such Diabetes Mellitus, Neutropenia, corticosteroid use, Organ transplantation, advanced age stayed prolonged ICU. This review article includes etiology, risk factors, site specificity, oral manifestations Mucormycosis, diagnosis based maxillofacial symptoms management complications.
